I am attempting to journal the journey from fat to fit.
I am starting on Feb 12 2010. I am not sure what possessed me to try this but I am so tired of being overweight..... we shall see how it all goes!
I started today by researching everything I could find on the web about Stillman's Diet.
Observations:
1) it is low carb
2) it is low calorie
3) it is restricive in food choices
4) it requires resolve to follow it
5) it will make weight loss fast
Questions:
1)Once the weight is lost will it stay off?
Conclusions:
1) I have been unable to find any blogs to tell me if this is the case. SO I will experiment with myself as the guinea pig!
Medical Considerations:
I am hypoglycemic
I am pre diabetic
I have high cholesterol
I am clincially moribidly obese (BMI over 30+)
I have IBS, GERD, and other GI problems
Personal Considerations:
I have been on every diet known to man:
sugar free/fat free
Weight Watchers 4 X's
Jenny Craig
Diet centre
Raw Food
No food (fasting)
Slow Food
LA Weight Loss
Grapefruit Diet
Cabbage Soup Diet
Slimfast
Atkins
Kekwick
Hcg
And another one whose name I forget...
Don't get me wrong,I have lost weight on various plans but then I gained it all back....
I have failed before....something inside me sabatoges my best efforts and I end up back where I started and then some.
What will make this time different????
I am tired of being fat,unhealthy and uncomfortable in my own skin.
I am hoping the blog will help!
